I will be available for the birth on 24 hour call to yourself exclusively from 2 weeks before the due date until you give birth.
At the birth I will ensure that your birth plan is fully explained to your care providers and followed out, unless there is a medical reason which would alter these plans.
I will ensure that the environment is as calm as possible with the use of aromatherpay oils, massage, lighting and music. I will be able to advise you on birthing positions and lead you into relaxation to support contractions. I will also be there to support your birth partner, and suggest ways that they can be involved and help.
I will also ensure that the important bonding process immediately after the birth with your baby can take place, this will be discussed with you in the pre natal meetings.
I will be there to support you and enable you to have the best birth for you, whatever the circumstances.
